The Anti-Ragging cell has been functioning with great vigil and diligence. The cell constantly arranges talks, seminars and workshops to educate the students about the ill effects of inhumanity in ragging. The cell began its activities in the year 2009 with a lecture on “Legal Consequences of Ragging”. Ragging in any form is prohibited inside the college campus.
It is always good to air a grievance rather than to keep it bottled up. Protection of human rights is essential for the all round development of an individual’s personality. To realize the primary needs of the students and staff and secure civil liberties for everybody, a three member Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted. The cell indents to find solutions for problems like Ragging, Sexual harassment of any kind of physical or mental harassment, Complaints regarding class room teaching, Class room management, completion of syllabus, teaching methods, etc, if and when they arise.Every Friday the suggestion box is opened by the Grievance Redressal Cell and steps are taken to redress the grievance. And the procedure is duley document The committee shall generally discuss the various basic problems of the students and any unhealthy relationship between the students and teachers or non-teaching staff of the college and suggest and implement remedial measures.
